The Infection and Allergy Interest Group organises small workshops during the yearly EAACI Congress, that give the chance to its members to communicate and exchange their views and ideas on allergy related issues.

In the last workshop in Paris, among others there was an interesting presentation on ''Allergy related symptoms and Infections''. The study, conducted by Laura Vega (MD Paediatrician) and Marcelo Escobar (biologist) in Argentina, was based on the ISAAC questionnaire and was addressed to children aged 6-7 years, in two different schools: a middle class and a low class school.
