The Immunotherapy Interest Group is currently one of the most active IG in the EAACI, more than 40 professionals are directly involved in the new Task Forces and more help will be needed. Additional EAACI members will be eventually contacted to join in an active way some of our TF and we are willing to count with your invaluable help.

As all Interest Groups within the EAACI, an annual Business meeting for all EAACI members but specially to those interested in our group is carried out. Last one in EAACI 2011 Istanbul Congress was followed by more than 100 members and was preceded by the lecture “Update on mechanism of SIT” given by Professor Stephen Durham.

Our group is involved with education and three Allergy Schools were planned for the period from 2009-2012. In 2009 and 2010 two allergy schools regarding allergen specific immunotherapy were performed in Finland and Berlin respectively. For 2012 a new allergy school is planned in El Escorial, Madrid, Spain and we all hope you join us.
