A variety of study options are available:
Short Courses in AllergyAll short courses comprise 2 days of face to face teaching at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London and access to 20 hours of on-line e-Learning to reinforce understanding and knowledge. The courses are multi-disciplinary in their focus and are suited to GPs, hospital doctors, nurses and dieticians wishing to further their skills in allergic disease. Short courses in 2012:

Rhinitis and Hayfever: Wednesday 21st/Tuesday 22nd March 2012
Allergic Skin Disease: Monday 11th/Tuesday 12th June 2012
Paediatric Allergy: Wednesday 13th/Thursday 14th June 2012
Allergic Gastrointestinal Disease: Monday 13th/Tuesday 14th November 2012
Food Hypersensitivity: Wednesday 15th/Thursday 16th November 2012
Postgraduate Certificate in AllergyThe PGC in Allergy offers a sound theoretical background to the principles of the mechanisms and management, and a robust practical programme in diagnosis and treatment of allergic disease. It is a 9 month Masters level part-time blended learning course comprising 3 modules – Scientific Basis of Allergy; Diagnosis and Treatment of Allergy; the Cutting Edge of Allergy. Each module involves one week of face to face teaching at Imperial College and 10 weeks of on-line e-learning tasks. Commencement date: 8th October 2012.
MSc in AllergyThe MSc is a 2 or 3 year part-time programme building upon the PGC in Allergy syllabus. Students select four of the six short courses and perform an allergy research project. Students benefit from a comprehensive academic training, an introduction to appropriate research methods and practice, and the opportunity for intellectual development within a stimulating and supportive environment.
