EAACI / ERS Dual Membership 2009
The respective leadership of EAACI and European Respiratory Society (ERS) has agreed to offer a Dual Membership of the two Societies from year 2009. The Dual Membership will be open to all members of the EAACI and the ERS with a full membership in respective Society. These members will be entitled to a 15% discount on the full membership fee of the respective Society.
Payment of the membership fee should be made separately to each Society.The Dual Membership agreement is not applicable to other categories of ERS Membership such as Senior, Junior, Affiliate and Associate Memberships, nor dual Memberships signed with other Respiratory Societies. Nor is it applicable to other categories of EAACI Membership other than the Individual Membership of the EAACI.

EAACI Reduced Fee for low income countries
The EAACI Executive Committee offers reduced membership fees for members from less advantaged parts of Europe. The membership fee is linked to the average per capita income of each European country according to the current World Bank Report.
Any EAACI member from a country within Europe with a GNP of less than US$ 10,000 will receive a 50% reduction on the EAACI membership fee, including full membership benefits.
The structure automatically applies for existing members. The invoices covering the membership fee for 2009 will be reduced by 50% for members from the countries which are subject to the reduction.
For new members applying for membership 2009 online the valid fee will automatically appear upon registration of the applicant’s country.

Payment for 2009 will grant you access to the Members Area and the Journal Allergy from January 1st 2009. Please note that your payment is valid for the current calendar year only.

Individual Members
1. Members: Individuals residing in Europe are eligible for individual membership.
2. Junior Members: Such membership is open to those under 35 years (before January 1st of current membership year) and currently residing in Europe.
3. Affiliates: Individuals residents of any country outside Europe may become affiliate members.
4. Junior affiliates: such membership is open to those under 35 years (before January 1st of current membership year) and currently residing outside Europe.

Societies can also become members
1. Member societies: National societies of allergology and clinical immunology or other European organisations interested in allergology and/or clinical immunology are eligible for society membership of the academy, but only one per country. Members of such societies are not ipso facto individual members of the Academy.
2. Affiliate societies: European or non-European organisations interested in allergology and/or clinical immunology may become affiliate Societies. Members of such organisations are not ipso facto affiliates of the Academy.
3. Corporate societies: Any public or private organisation which is interested in supporting EAACI.
