The occurrence of allergic skin diseases in children has doubled in recent years, due to an increased use of children make-up and other cosmeticsZurich/Venice, 9 November 2010 – Allergic skin diseases are increasing at an alarming rate among children due to the indiscriminate use of nonhypoallergenic make-up, the European Academy for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) warns on the eve of its “Skin Allergy Meeting” held in Venice, Italy, Nov. 11-13.
