The EAACI 2008
Congress is now finished and it was a big
success in many ways. A lot of records were
broken including total number of submitted
abstracts and total number of registered
delegates.
The Congress attracted more
than 7600 delegates from over 100
countries
world wide.

Thanks to all the delegates
who helped us make this a very successful
event.
The Congress was very well covered
by press, TV and radio, both internationally and
in Spain. Over 80 journalists covered the
meeting and up to the moment over 150 impacts
have been published in Spanish and foreign

XXVII Congress was held at the
Barcelona International Convention Center,
CCIB Rambla Prim, 1 -17. The CCIB consists
of the Convention Centre and the Forum building,
Auditorium. They have the best and most modern
installations, with highly versatile spaces,
situated on the city's seafront: Diagonal Mar.
The CCIB is linked by an underground walkway.
The International Airport of Barcelona -El
Prat de Llobregat- is situated in the
southwest of the Count City (Barcelona), 20
kilometres from the Barcelona International
Convention Center, CCIB.
