Date: 05-09 June 2010
Place: Excel, London, United Kingdom
The 29th EAACI Congress will take place from 05 to 09 June 2010 in London, UK focusing on "cutting edge research in allergic diseases and their underlying mechanisms" (AJ Frew). According to the EAACI President, Jan Lötvall, this year's planned programme includes seven plenary or semi plenary sessions, 42 symposia, 15 workshops, eight or more Founder Sponsor symposia, six clinical updates and eight debates. Together with oral abstract sessions and poster presentations, this will result in more than 120 sessions, and thus an enormous amount of information will be communicated among scientists and clinicians at the EAACI London congress.
EAACI 2010 is the most important event of the year for everyone interested in allergy and allergic diseases. 8,000 clinicians, researchers, academics and allied health professionals will gather in London to hear the latest developments in allergy, exchange ideas, and update their clinical practice.
EAACI’s mission is to develop and spread knowledge in the field of allergy, asthma and immunology, and in particular to apply that knowledge for the benefit of people with allergic disease. Many travel grants and prizes are provided to help young scientists and clinicians to attend and present their work.
EAACI 2010 will be held at the ExCeL London exhibition and conference centre, located in the heart of London’s Royal Docks. Hotels, bars and restaurants are available on site, while the Docklands Light Railway and Jubilee Line offer easy access to central London and London’s airports.
The EAACI 2010 Congress will be held at the new ExCeL exhibition and convention centre and will be hosted by the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
