Application Instructions for CME Accredited Events
In order to receive EAACI CME accreditation, which is validated firstly by the EAACI Accreditation Council and then approved by EACCME-European Accreditation Council for CME, a body of UEMS-European Union of Medical Specialists, the instructions below should be followed.
EAACI works as an umbrella organisation for accreditation of educational events, such as scientific courses and congresses, and may be especially useful in countries where no National authority for CME exist. UEMS will always refer to the National Authority, or to the local Health structure to verify the status of the scientific organiser, prior to EAACME validation of the event. UEMS/EACCME will send out a Credit Certificate to the organisers once the appropriate procedure has been carried out, according to the following flow chart.
These CME credits are also recognised by the American system and there are therefore full reciprocity of credits.
